SEMEAR Group (Solutions in Mechatronics Engineering and Application in Robotics) is a non-profit group organized by students from the University of São Paulo (USP), on the São Carlos campus. The group has more than 100 members, including undergraduate and graduate students, in addition to the support of professors advisors. Its objective is to complete the academic and professional training of its members, in addition to generating and sharing knowledge with its teaching and extension programs, development of technological projects. Within the group, there are several cores, one of which is focused on drones and model airplanes. To expand our knowledge, we participate in competitions and fairs, that's how we met CopterHack. The team that represents SEMEAR in these events is called Atena. For more information visit our website.
Our group presents the following mission:
"To apply and expand undergraduate knowledge from the development of innovative technological projects in engineering and robotics, promoting the individual and collective development of our members."
Talking specifically about CopterHack, we made a team composed of seven members from different courses, besides a few collaborators, also from the university, supporting us with the internal organization. Now, we are pleased to introduce our team.
Meet our members:
Agnes Bressan de Almeida, undergraduate student in Computer Engineering;
Felipe Andrade Garcia Tommaselli, undergraduate student in Electrical Engineering;
Gabriel Ribeiro Rodrigues Dessotti, undergraduate student in Computer Engineering;
José Carlos Andrade do Nascimento, undergraduate student in Mechatronics Engineering;
Lucas Sales Duarte, undergraduate student in Computer Engineering;
Matheus Della Rocca Martins, undergraduate student in Mechatronics Engineering;
Nathan Fernandes Vilas Boas, undergraduate student in Electrical Engineering.
